Over the somewhat more than two years I've been part of CTRL, we've seen
numerous attempts by Nazis, Christian Identity types, and assorted other
racists and Antisemites to force their agendas on the rest of us. We've tried
every conceivable method of getting rid of them, including the electronic
equivalent of kicking them out the door, but they keep coming back. We've
tried reasoning with them, citing the *real* versions of texts they insisted
on perverting, giving them carefully-researched facts; we've tried yelling at
them, we've tried ignoring them, we've tried virtually everything under the
sun. Except for one last approach...
In *The Screwtape Letters*, C.S. Lewis includes the following epigrams, which
seem extremely appropriate:
