Is the more obvious word RIPE which is a bit more Final and Conclusive than
PLUMP being passed over in the cause of political correctness ?????
In the context of 'harvest' - ripe is surely the most common sense choice.
If the 'fruit' were analogous to Mankind - then that makes a Jewish God a
bit more prominent than if the fruit just became 'plump' and overweight :)
