DDN is "GONE" as a domain, and so are : nic.ddn.mil whois.ddn.mil ddn.mil AS WELL AS telnet to the database at: ddn.mil; which has been replaced by a website for accessing this data -- http://www.nic.mil/cgi-bin/whois -- which translates to - "MONITORING". That is, a system through which "they" can find things out about people who want to find things out about them. Current 53 sub-domains for .MIL : note : DDN is GONE ...
