I appreciate the posting of the above. As a work-in-progress, my article
will benefit from these clarifications. Frankly, the PROMIS saga has been
more than a little confusing to me, so I am not surprised I still have
homework to do on this subject.
Grabbe's mention of California with regard to the PROMIS project rings a
bell. I seem to recall Branch Davidian Wally Kennett saying Jeff Little
had come to Waco from California. However, I am relying on memory, which
may be faulty.
Regardless where Little came from, it sounds very much like he may have
been involved in the modification of PROMIS.
Kennett was specific on this point: Jeff Little had been involved in a
project to modify some sort of law enforcement software. The word "shady"
was not used, but there was that tone in his description of Little and his
previous activities.
Is this disinformation? I do not know. If it is disinformation, then that
is interesting in itself. For then the question would be why a Branch
Davidian, in the first few months after the final assault at Waco, would be
spreading false stories about a possible INSLAW link to Waco.
I wish someone--not me, but a real investigator--would look into this.
