Gates and his wife Melinda have established what is now the largest charitable foundation in the US, focusing on global health problems and education, with total assets of over $17 billion. And they're adding money to the foundation at the rate of $5 billion - every 3 months. One of the main focuses of the foundation is providing life-saving vaccines to children in less developed countries.
