Others at a news conference criticized the j*w lawyers and judge overseeing it. They said the holohoaxers were also likely to get short shrift from German companies accused of using slave labour during WWII. "The Swiss and German and other class action suits don't work on our behalf," said paul FRANKEL who heads a group for WWII survivor justice, and whose members are also planning to dump the suit. " Our only control is to opt out." The group claims that survivors who make claims under the suit against Credit Suisse and UBS AG would get as little as $500 after the j*w lawyers get through with them. The banks have agreed to pay account-holders and/or heirs 10 times the value of their wartime accounts. The alleged victims and FRANKEL want 114 times the value of the deposits. elan STEINBERG, exec. director of the WJC said lawyers should handle the case for free.
