# Evidence of ancient disaster found. SHELL, Wyo. (AP) A scientist has found
fossil evidence of a large pile of dinosaur bodies, suggesting a possible
natural disaster more than 140 million years ago. He believes the dinosaur
fossils indicate a remarkable Jurassic environmental catastrophe, such as
a huge hurricane, flood or similar natural event. Or maybe aliens did it.

: What's your fave natural disaster? Have you ever provoked such an event?
Would you rather kill thousands of dinosaurs, humans, aliens, robots, me?

# 'Earth-sized planet' in deep space. (BBC) A chance alignment between two
stars may have allowed astronomers to detect the first Earth-sized planet
found outside our solar system. Pack up your bags, take the next train:

# Watery Depths Could Hold Key To The Cosmos. SHEFFIELD, England (Reuters)
Scientists have a novel way of star-gazing by studying the depths of the
sea. A special telescope to be installed on the Mediterranean seafloor may
help explain the origin of cosmic rays. The Antares telescope, which is
being built 2.4 kilometers under the sea some 40 kilometers off the coast
of Marseille in southern France, will focus on the seabed, searching for
subatomic particles called neutrinos. And maybe they'll find Jimmy Hoffa.

: What's your favorite neutrino detector? Should all telescopes/astronomers
be sunk to the bottom of the sea? Would they be missed? Are they necessary?

# Chandra views wreckage of exploded star. (BBC) The first picture taken
by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory, is of the wreckage of a star that
exploded in an outrigger galaxy to our own Milky Way. Stellar vandalism:

: Do you like to watch stars explode? Have you ever caused a (super)nova? Is
it fun? Is galactic pyromania even more satisfying? Was the Big Bang a rush?

# ARIZONA UFO REPORT - Huge Black Triangle. I knew the planet Mars was very
prevalent in the sky that night, I'd noted its brightness and position a
lot that week. We were in a discussion when Cindy said "What's that" and
pointed towards Mars. "Mars." Cindy said, "No! That!" and pointed again
towards the South. That was when I saw it. http://caus.org/az091399.htm

be seen? Why do they show us their craft? Have they nothing better to do??

@ Argentine UFO Photo Released. On an excursion into the Andes, a couple of
British friends & I stopped at a truck monitoring station in the locality
of Punta the Vacas, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. We pulled out a
soccer ball from the trunk of the car, just stretching our legs. I took
two photos, about a minute apart; the first shows nothing in the spot that
is occupied by the object in the second frame. The weather was perfect,
not a cloud in the sky. Nothing was present at the time the photo was
  taken. http://www.sightings.com/ufo4/argufo.htm

: What's your favorite UFO photo? Have you ever photographed UFOs? Have you
ever been abducted? Did the aliens take away your camera or film? Why not??
