BUSH REFUSING TO RELEASE MEDICAL RECORDS

GOP presidential front runner George W. Bush is refusing to
release his medical records, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
In recent weeks, Bush has declined persistent requests by several
major media outlets for a detailed accounting of his health
history and current condition.
At the close of business on Friday, Bush campaign officials were
not budging.
"The governor is in great health and we will back that up," one
senior staffer told the DRUDGE REPORT.
But when pressed about the repeated requests made by reporters
for the release of Bush's complete medical records, the campaign
insider cried foul.
"We strongly believe that this is an issue of privacy," said the
official. "I think the American people are sick and tired of
reporters digging around in people's private lives!"
Ironically, George W. Bush's stand against releasing his medical
records clashes with assurances that were made during his
father's presidential campaign.
In 1988, the late Lee Atwater, campaign manager for George Bush,
promised reporters that Vice-President Bush would produce
whatever private medical records the press requested.
The WASHINGTON POST and the WALL STREET JOURNAL, which
consistently hit Bill Clinton after he refused to release his
full medical records, could publicly challenge the W. Bush
campaign as early as this week, according to publishing sources.
Editors in one newsroom have argued that Bush should simply be
held to the same standard that his father's handlers wished to
hold candidate Clinton.
Former press secretary for President Bush, Marlin Fitzwater,
blasted Bill Clinton for failing to release his medical records.
"Clinton has stonewalled from the beginning in 1992 and he offers
no explanation; he simply says, 'I won't do it,'" Fitzwater told
reporters.
The W. Bush camp could be spooked by comments made by President
Ronald Reagan in 1988.
"I do believe the medical history of a President is something the
people have a right to know and I speak from personal
experience," Reagan said.

printing books and crashing audios almost non-stop on the Life
and Times of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
No less than 6 major books on Hillary are now planned to flood
stores.
It will be: pick the Hillary you want. Witch or hero?
Lined up on the shelf will be a variety of Hillary personalities
for enjoyment.
First up, "Hillary's Choice," by Gail Sheehy [Suck up], set for
release by RANDOM HOUSE. Sheehy aims a love arrow at Hillary
Rodham Clinton to find out what makes her run.
There will be Hillary books coming from Lewinsky media star
Barbara Olsen [Critic], Carl Bernstein [Suck up], MSNBC's Laura
Ingraham [Critic] and others.
Publisher Judith Regan [Critic] is holding and molding a redhot
Hillary book.
And is David Brock [Suck up] itching to update his SEDUCTION OF
HILLARY RODHAM with new information shared by White House aide
and Hillary insider Sidney Blumenthal?
Or will that be saved for the next wave.
"I think we may be reaching a point where there is nothing more
to say about Hillary," a publisher, who recently passed on yet
another Hillary project, said in New York City last week.
Only the cash register knows that future.
