*ANY* action by *ANY* person is done so for their OWN
rational self-interest.
Propaganda is the means of control IN a DEMOCRACY among
other variations. This was revealed by many such as
Hobbes:
A democracy is no more than an aristocracy of
orators. The people are so readily moved by
demagogues that control must be exercised by
the government over speech and press.
Additionally the idea that 'democracy' is somehow congruent
and or compatible with its opposite 'individual freedom'
adds 'whipped topping' to Huxley's entire piece of nonsense.

majority is not at bottom a rule of force. What other virtue can
there be in fifty-one percent except the brute fact that fifty-one
is more than forty-nine? The rule of fifty-one per cent is a
