Additional rules used in the isopsephos code:

(2) In phrases, the combined number value of the words can be
increased or decreased ONLY +1 or -1 times the number of
words in a phrase: e.g., 3-word total can = total +3 or -3
(3) Number SUBSTITUTION:
Some letters can have either of two alternative numerical
equivalents: e.g., "o" may be read as 70 or as 90,
"st" may be read as 200+300 = 500 or as = 6, and
in RARE cases, "a" can be read not as 1 but as 1000
(4) GRAMMATICAL option:
The personal article preceding a proper noun may be used
or it may be omitted when totalling words in a phrase;
The conjunction "and" may be dropped or included when
totalling words used in a phrase;

Note that KEY ROOT 153 encodes many of the symbolic phrases in
John's Gospel regarding "Jesus the Fisher of Men," rich in WATERY
and MATERNAL associations, e.g., "BELLY of the whale" with
"belly" also meaning "womb" and "HOME," "THE BOAT" as like womb
and Ark, all relevant to "re-birth," "PEARL" of great price in
the oyster (in the deep Sea), "PRECIOUS OINTMENT" (liquid) used
to anoint Jesus, Jesus had "AUTHORITY" over the "STORM," baptism
occurred in the Jordan "RIVER" at a place where there were "MANY
WATERS," "ZEBEDEE" (Peter's employer and father of John and
James) was a fisherman and provided "THE BOAT" from which Jesus
taught, and finally the symbolic "THE FISHES" and "THE NET" ...
These are reflections of the fact that, in the 1st and 2nd Centuries AD,
the equinoctial point --originally marking the first day of the New Year,
our first day of Spring-- was moving out of the constellation of Aries (the
Ram
or Lamb) into the first degrees of the constellation of Pisces (the Fishes),
marking the beginning of a new Age (each age lasting for 2160 years), in
the understanding of Neoplatonist philosophers living in Alexandria, the
Greco-Roman world's center of learning. The new "God" enthroned by
the Age of Pisces, according to Greco-Roman astrology, was to be
Poseidon (Latin Neptune), ruling the sea, sailors/fisherman, and storm --
a Trickster-like source of prophecy and visions (as well as illusions
and deceptions). Every god had a symbolic animal form (for Zeus or
Jupiter it was the eagle) and Poseidon's, when the god was benevolent,
was the dolphin. When an "angry god," it was the Dragon, a mythical
sea-serpent. The "Son of God" in the Piscean Age of Poseidon's rule
was DIONYSUS, a human-born "Savior" associated with wine and the
vine and the "ecstasy" (exalted as "Love") associated with alcohol, at
a time when, in religious ritual, alcohol was laced with hallucinogens.
All the iconography and religious symbolism found in early Christianity
was adopted IN ITS ENTIRETY from images PREVIOUSLY associated
with Poseidon and Dionysus, the two gods (Father and Son) of the
then-dawning Age of Pisces, the so-called "Christian" era. Even the
numerical equivalent of the Greek word "ICHTHUS," the Fish --that
pre-eminent symbol of Christianity-- in the Canon Code yields the same
value as the name of the new God of the Age of Pisces -- POSEIDON
(as pointed out by John Michell in his books on NEOPLATONIC code).
Poseidon, his son Dionysus, Dionysus' disciple Orpheus, such Oriental
counterparts of Dionysus as Osiris, Tammuz, and even Mithras, to be
encountered in the Mystery Cults that were 1st C. Greece and Rome's
"religion," all coalesced seamlessly in the "Christ" promoted by St Paul
-- a PAGAN deity at the foundation of what we now call "Christianity."
The secret code of "Christianity," decoded, reveals its PAGAN origin, in
MYTHOLOGY superimposed upon a misunderstood event in HISTORY.
