I recently was in china on business. What struck me was
the considerable support the communist party has...many see it as the only
means of controlling such a vast country.
The considerable chinese chauvinism that exists(in a very polite and subdued
manner)
The view that china will be the pre-eminent power in the next century.
The support for the one child policy.
The admiration of america and the desire to learn from america.
For a people who talked about harmony between nature and man, how
unaesthetic most of their cities are.
They dont paint anything that they dont need to.(which is bad for business)
