-Caveat Lector-
A league is about three miles.
Whose translation of C6 Q5 are you using? I'm looking at John Hogue's at the
moment and this is how he translates it:
So great a famine through a pestilent wave.
[It] will extend its rain over the length of the Artic Pole.
Samarobryn, one hundred leagues from the hemisphere.
[They] shall live without law, exempt from politics.
Hogue refers to "Samarobryn" as an "unsolved enigma" and notes a number of
variations including "Samarobriva = Amiens", "Sam R. O'Brien = some future
astronaut" or some sort of wandering seed pod from the Latin words samara =
seed-pod & obire = to wander.
Do you seriously think anyone will know what this means. Methinks it's yet
another example of perhaps a particularly enduring confidence trick.
