A copyrighted Brown County Democrat newspaper
story on the arrest of Hulda Regehr Clark, Ph.D., N.D., is at
http://www.browncountyindiana.com/breaking1.html
After a long and arduous pursuit, the Federal Bureau of
Investigation on September 20, 1999 finally found and
arrested medical researcher Hulda Regehr Clark, Ph.D.,
N.D. She was held, without possibility of bail, in a federal
holding facility in San Diego for over two weeks.
Brown County officers left San Diego, CA, with
70-year-old Clark in custody, at 5:00 PM PST Monday,
October 4, 1999 and arrived in Indiana at 2:30 AM
(PST) Wednesday Oct. 6. Their 2,100-mile trip was made
in 33.5 hours non-stop.
Dr. Clark was then roused from her sleep the following morning
for her arraignment hearing which was hastily held at 9:00 AM.
Thursday morning October 7, 1999 in front of Brown County
Circuit Court Judge Heather Mollo. Prosecutor James Oliver
represented Brown County, IN. Steve Dillon, of Indianapolis,
represented Dr. Clark who was charged in Indiana with
"practicing medicine without a license", a Class C felony
facing 2-8 years in prison.
The charges against Dr. Clark were filed August 16, 1993.
According to court paperwork, charges of unlawful practice
of medicine in Indiana constitute "not being duly licensed,
did, unlawfully practice medicine by: (1) holding herself out
to the public as being engaged in : (A) the diagnosis,
treatment, correction, or prevention of diseases and ailments
of human beings; (B) the suggestion, recommendation or
prescription or administration of a form of treatment;
(C) the prevention of any physical, mental, or functional ailment or defect
of any person."
Dr. Clark pled "NOT GUILTY." The judge reduced her
bond to $10,000 from $15,000. Trial date - February
2, 2000. She was released on bond at 10:00 AM (PST).
The presumably exhausted 70-year-old woman will stay
with friends in Indiana. She presumably will not be allowed
to return to San Diego or to continue treating her cancer
patients in Mexico allegedly without dangerous side effects, pain nor
disfigurement.
The patients in her Century Nutrition clinic in Tijuana, Mexico,
most of them terminally ill and reportedly getting better
under Dr. Clark's supervision, had to be sent home to try
and do the protocol on their own.
Author and research scientist Hulda Regehr Clark,
Ph.D., N.D., is most famous for her books "The
Cure for all Cancers," ,"The Cure for HIV and AIDS,"
and "The Cure for All Diseases". She also has lectured on
the shortcomings of conventional medicine and
comparisons with alternative medicine. Exercising due
diligence on her claims ought to include verifying that she
in fact actually earned her Doctor of Philosophy and
Doctor of Naturopathy degrees.
Dr. Clark's arrest could be considered as a major test case
involving the legalities and merits of noninvasive alternative medical
practices.

costs $76. Their Web site http://www.sota-inc.com has testimonials.
Jaguar Electronics also makes and sells a similar "zapper".
