Endre Babus, the head of Publicity Club, a renowned media monitoring organization did not wish to comment on the decision. However, he said that it would be scandalous if the only Romani program of the Public service TV was stopped because of Dar�czi's dismissal. Romani leaders are critical of the decision. Alad�r Horv�h, the head of the Foundation for Romani Civil Rights called attention to the fact that six months ago the airing time of the Gypsy Magazine was changed and the program was put into one of the least frequently watched program zones. Dar�czi's dismissal is the final step in the process in which the Roma's right to access to Public service media is being terminated, said Horv�th. President of the National Gypsy Self-Government Fl�ri�n Farkas said that the MTV's decision was likely to increase intolerance, because the state television now liquidated the Romani minority's only means of Public communication. "This was the first and most drastic step back since my meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orb�n. The dismissal offends international laws as well as the Hungarian television's concept of the minority media.
