I talked to someone at the EPA about this, and you will at least be delighted
to know that the Democrats managed to get the jail time that was in the house
bill and the original senate bill bounced out of it before it was finally
sent to the President to sign. The date for reassessment was required by
Clinton before he would sign it into law. This is the end result of Rep
Thomas Bliley and Senator Inhofe efforts to please the Chemical companies who
are very happy about this. Prudy
