The problem in Israel is the Israeli. I listened to a NPR broadcase some
months back as American businessmen who had tried very hard to set up
businesses in the Palestinian area of Israel had all finally given up,
because the Israeli imposed such horrifying restrictions and fees, and
created so much logistic difficulty that it became impossible to do business
at all. The Israeli feel about the Palestinians just exactly as the old line
Southerner felt and perhaps still feels about Blacks. They are not going to
allow anyone to do anything to help bring them success. Prudy
