(1.) That's a WILD claim. Cite the figures and the sources. Exclude the
expence of enforcing prohibition laws and promulgating prohibitionist
propaganda. Exactly how much money per taxpayer per year are we talking
about here?
(2.) Anybody who minds healing sick people because some of the money comes
out of their own pocket is beneath contempt. As human beings we have an
obligation to care for one another. People who believe otherwise are not
fully human. Whatever other human like characteristics they may possess,
they lack the very essence of humanity. Ergo, they are subhuman.
But I'm sure that's not what you meant . . . or is it? Are you subhuman or
are you willing, in fact eager, to do your duty as a human being? There's
no middle ground.
