Subject: Clinton third term....again.
The "third term" rumor seems to still trickle occasionally from
various news and internet sources. I have heard that Clinton
made some intriguing comments suggesting that desire in a talk at
the AFL-CIO meeting in Chicago recently, I believe on the 21st of
October. I have tried but can't locate a transcript or audio of
this speech. Does anyone know where I might find it? There have
been other "slips" and comments lately that have all the earmarks
of trial balloons.
Also does anyone know the status of H.J. RES. 17, proposing an
amendment to the Constitution to repeal the twenty-second
amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms
a president may serve?
I'm trying not to be a flaming right-wing paranoid, but I
sincerely believe this deserves watching. The man has shown some
strangely erratic behavior lately.
