As for what you wrote that I have excerpted above, you are 100% correct, and those who have followed some of my reporting on these matters know that I am not given to hyperbole or exaggerations. And the explanation for why the situation you have described happened in the MK-ULTRA reporting is NOT a mystery. The chairman of the investigating "commission" to investigate allegations centered on MK-ULTRA and CIA programs was then-Vice President of the United StatesNelson A. Rockefeller. It is widely acknowledged in circles familiar with these activities and what happened to them that, following the "soft-ball" approach of the Rockefeller Commission, many of these programs or their "scientific" descendants went "outside of government." As evidence of this is the introductory speech by Cdr. Cecil B. "Scott" Jones, Jr., in 1983 at a conference he organized on "Applied Anomalous Phenomena," when he was in the employ of defense contractor KamanTEMPO, a division of Kaman Sciences Corporation. Dr. Jones acknowledged to those gathered that various of reasons had caused the flight of various "psi" and "psychotronics" programs outside of government into private and academic settings, including "the giggle factor" and a desire to avoid Congressional or public oversight, (whether to avoid professional and political ridicule...or, I am adding here, integrity and public accountability). Further evidence is available from considerable published documentation of the role the Rockefeller family and financial (philanthropic) interests played in funding early research into many forms of eventually abusive psychiatric and anthropoligic R&D, including "lobotomies" as used on mentally retarded and autistic individuals (like the elder sister of President Kennedy, who was lobotomized by the same Dr. Ewen Cameron, at Allen Memorial Institute in Canada, who perpetrated crimes against his patients on behalf of the CIA as funded by Rockefeller interests, as documented in Gordon Thomas's book, "Journey Into Madness," (Bantam, 1990). There is quite a bit more on Rockefeller funding and philosphical support for "eugenics" programs to neuter & spay people considered by the psychiatric profession of earlier times to be too retarded or even just "not good enough" to be permitted to breed. These kinds of programs, which reflected the real philosphies and bad science of early advocates for "birth control" (which back then wasn't in the form of condoms and "bc" pills) and the mothers of contemporary billionaire "social engineers" like the Rockefeller brothers, continue in camouflaged form in inheriting organizations (Planned Parenthood, etc.). It is probably of note, then, that we ought to be more than passingly concerned at the demonstrable presence as a major backer and funder of so-called "UFO" and "alien abduction" belief-campaigns by the likes of Laurance S. Rockefeller, brother of the late Vice President (Nelson Rockefeller) who helped to bury the MK-ULTRA and related programs. CIA shunted its data to Rockefeller's commission, while stiffing the Senatorial "Church Committee" (which represented "us, the People") headed by the late Senator Frank Church. And TenebrousT is quite correct: the final report did not mention in any of its published reports the electronic and psychotronic elements of the program, only the psych-chemical...which by then had been considered not to be reliable and useful for any intelligence purposes. Of course, by then it was too late and scientist Frank Olsen was dead and Jerry Garcia, (who took his LSD while in the Army in San Francisco in 1966...according to Spin Magazine and other sources) and Timothy Leary, "UFO" psychiatric researcher John Mack and others present on the "New Age" scene today...had already taken their mega-doses of LSD, thought they had "seen God," and have spent the rest of their lives mis-guiding our youth and our popular culture down roads discerned by drug-induced psychopathic "shamans." All published and documentable. So, let's move on and do more research, shall we?
