Instead of listing documents on the Web site, at www.whitehouse.gov, that include the term ``Y2K,'' the site's so-called ``virtual library'' unexpectedly asks visitors to enter a user name and password combination. Searching for other topics works just fine. A White House spokesman today couldn't immediately explain the unusual behavior, but suggested that visitors use a different page to search for information from the president about Y2K, at http://www.pub.whitehouse.gov/search/everything.html. The president's top experts on his Council for Year 2000 Conversion issued their final report Wednesday on the nation's readiness, and Clinton predicted there will be no national breakdowns because of the New Year's date rollover. ``The American people can have full faith that everything from air traffic control systems to Social Security payment systems will work like they should,'' Clinton said.
