I agree with Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa. I was with him last week and he presented at Ramsey Clark's tribunal on NATO war crimes. Kosovo and the Balkans have been re-colonized for Germany, the U.S. and Britain. The sphere of influence (economically) is denied to the Russians who are being compelled to look eastward. More and more drugs for the U.S. are Western Hemisphere produced. The KLA controls 70% of the heroin for Western Europe. European cocaine is, of course, from S. America because the coca leaf doesn't quite grow right anywhere else - yet. I really don't see a Maoist model at all. The so-called "commies" were never proven to have had a hand in any major drug trafficking here. The Chinese who ran the trade out of East Asia were nationalists and Tong/Triads out of Hong Kong. We do it to ourselves. Mainland China has NEVER been a major grower of any narcotic and the trade has been dominated by western capitalists. The opium that was first sent to China by the British was grown in India. It got the name China White because of Chinese chemists who could master the dangerous refinement from black tar to white powder and the Chinese smugglers in Hong Kong who banked the profits. What's happening with the KLA is for the benefit of the Euro. When NATO inserted the KLA as the ruling authority in Kosovo, post-surgical bombing, of course, they knew the KLA had been provided armed protection for the Balkan Route. Does this lend further credibility to the "Council of 300" theory? If, in fact, the 300 have risen to power in large part by selling addictive drugs like heroin and opium, then they must be working with the Peoples Republic of China. Mao said, on and off from 1927 forward, that the government of the People should work WITH and not AGAINST the drug traffickers, because they would "anesthetize the West."
