I'd say its prob because the men here don't so much thwart us enterprising
Kiwi women from doing our thing! I have lived in Canada, UK and South
Africa and I'd say its much harder being a woman and trying to get heard
there than here by far. You don't get labeled by your name origins either -
you can actually just be a human being here and do what you want in my
opinion. If you wan't to say and do what you believe, without someone
telling what you say isn't true, because it is not in a book - then come on
over! We even LIKE foreigners.

Yep You got that right Das.. She is very good too.. Also a new Labour
gov(center left) led by NZ's first elected woman PM (Helen Clark ), 35 of
the 120 members of Parliament are women and also 2 homosexual MP's.. Until
we have all the Special votes counted we may end up with 6 Green seats as
well..It appears the feminine energy is alive and well here in NZ..
