I know Gary England-and he has revolutionized weather analysis and forecasting. On 3 May 1999, Oklahoma experienced an incredible outbreak of tornadoes with the worst damage being done on the south side of metropolitan Oklahoma City. For the international members, the US national severe storm center is located in the suburban city of Norman associated with the Univ of Ok. Gary is also not likely to become embroiled in UFO issues for professional reasons; so posting this on their web site is a little risky. What probably prompted the posting is that the movement of the flying thing was into the cyclonic winds of the tornado-debris would go with the wind. This will stir up some controversy in academic circles-for the record Gary England is reputable. That was an incredible afternoon/evening. England told the viewing audience to get below ground, and if they did not have a cellar to dig one. The warnings from the three network stations in OKC kept the death toll to about 50 but it leveled 1,500 homes and made another 2000 unliveable. Sorry about the length of this-I did watch it unfold on television and it is my home state. QuickTime & AVI Weather Movies
