-Caveat Lector- Much, if not all the organ theft was carried out regardless of parental wishes. Many parents had signed papers "denying any organ extraction". What started out as a single investigation by one family, then took in the whole hospital, which seems to be the tip of the iceberg. Organs harvested normally (does that sound right?) - are in the system, and accounted for, by and large. Any organs harvested "Illegally" are outside the parameters of the legally tracked organs - this is a lucrative trade here. Did (all) the babies die naturally, or were some 'let go' on special order. In China, many transplant hospitals 'just happen' to be next door to top-security prisons. Hell, I'd be the last person to suggest they were supplying organs "to order" - I'm sure the deal they got for a "hospital & prison" was much better than just a prison, or just a hospital. Sensible economics at work here, right? Anyway, as of Monday ALL hospitals in the U.K. are under investigation. How's your hospital doing?
