If "Montauk" is a "mind-control"-useful technology like HAARP, by all means
let us keep our eye on it as a "black project" in which the CIA and other
intelligence agencies would have a vested interest in OBSCURING. If, on the
other hand, "Montauk" is understood INSTEAD as a "ritually abusing"
"time-travel project" which resulted in the time-defying "reincarnation" of
its WWII subjects in postwar fetuses, "walk-ins" of Pleiadian or Sirian
aliens, "remote viewing" of sites on Mars and the Atlantis on eons ago, and
other such nonsense generated by confabulators like Al Bielek and Peter Moon,
reported as "fact" by the likes of Brad Steiger, we'd do well to ask
ourselves why an effort is being made to steer the attention of the gullible
UFO flock off into the ozone, AWAY from whatever government agencies may
REALLY be doing at Montauk. The best possible "cover" for a top-secret
military project is to associate it with grade-C sci-fi fantasies and occult
mumbo-jumbo, because if THAT bullshit is all it's associated with, the
educated public will never take it SERIOUSLY: As long as we "watch the skies"
glassy-eyed, looking for "extraterrestrials," we'll all be too preoccupied to
notice anything less "glamorous," more down-to-earth, but seriously REAL
happening, in terms of a military/intelligence technology, INCLUDING
PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE.
And THIS is where Jacques Vallee comes in -- as a scientist who's concluded
from his own investigations that (1) much of the popular "extraterrestrial"
UFO mythology is deliberately GENERATED and/or PROMOTED by disinformation
agents as part of a decades-old military/intelligence/government PSY-WAR
operation (see, e.g., Vallee's reprinting of the previously classified
"Pentacle" papers), (2) many "alien abduction" experiences revivified under
hypnosis turn out to be hypnotically-implanted "screen memories" covering up
REAL memories (which CONTINUED hypnosis can uncover) of being programmed by
lab-coated or uniform-wearing HUMAN beings, during some kind of "mind
control" experiment, (3) all the initial symptoms of "contact" with "UFOS" and
their occupants --bright lights, "missing time," a feeling of floating, etc--
match what HUMAN "mind control" technology can produce, using mobile EM
generators and the
like, augmented by hypnosis used to produce false memories, and most
importantly, (4)
many of the characters actively involved in the "New Age" scene, promoting
belief in extraterrestrials and occult ideas, once were or still are
functionaries of secret military
or CIA "psy-ops" projects, who conceal or minimize their "intelligence"
connections -- thus supporting Vallee's "non-extratterestrial" thesis in
"Messengers of Deception."
Now, what's interesting about Vallee is that, even while arguing that MOST
so-called
"UFO experiences" --particularly those involving psychological effects on the
persons who report them-- are a product of TERRESTRIAL and HUMAN psych
warfare agents, he does NOT say that ALL such bizarre experiences are -- in
fact, he cites a wealth of UFO-related paranormal experiences that DO in fact
appear to be "not of this world," which the counterfeit manufactured
experiences apparently strive to IMITATE -- as if EITHER to try to DISCREDIT
the former, or else to CAPITALIZE ON their "legendary" reputation (see
Vallee's "Passport to Magonia"), in order to tap into something in the
"primitive" collective psyche which predisposes people toward BELIEF and
superstitious
emotions like AWE or FEAR, useful to "mind-controllers." THAT understood,
Vallee is no "debunker" of "UFO" experiences across the board -- just a
SKEPTIC about them.
My defense of Vallee as NOT a "CIA agent" rests on his open-minded attitude
toward the phenomenon, as befits anyone with a TRULY scientific mind, and his
concern for how uncritical belief in the phenomenon can be exploited for
psy-warfare purposes by
sinister government and NGO agencies --that includes the CIA, with its
MK-ULTRA-- and by "secret societies," which tend to manipulate believers
through "occult" ideas.
It is NOT to the advantage of the CIA or other intelligence agencies for him
to promote
public SKEPTICISM on the subject and public SUSPICION of ulterior "psy-war"
motives in those who, on the other hand, are "true believers," promoting a
"cult-like" belief in the hypothesis of "extraterrestrial" origin (and thus
the sociological effects of such a belief).
It IS to the advantage of the CIA and other intelligence or
quasi-intelligence agencies (including, for example, Scientology and other
"secret societies") to SMEAR Vallee, in an effort to detract from the
feasibility of the COUNTER-hypotheses he has proposed.
There are plenty of "celebrities" in the UFO-fan subculture who won't even
acknowledge Vallee, or who routinely ascribe ulterior motives to him, if only
because his reasonable arguments cut the ground out from under all the
personal egoboo and profit available to them otherwise in the booming "New
Age" market of books, seminars and radio-time.
And there are others who have a more sinister interest in keeping the public
gullible.
Thus, how one feels about Vallee and Vallee's conclusions has become quite a
reliable barometer of that person's judgment in these matters, and often of
his motives as well.
One could, I presume, criticize any of Vallee's (to me, flawlessly logical)
arguments WITHOUT attacking him as a "CIA agent." Those who DO label him,
with no possible evidence, as a "CIA agent" --in order to detract from his
THESES, in a left-handed and suspect way-- are, in so doing, THEMSELVES
behaving in the classical manner of CIA "disinformation agents" -- who
sometimes have a vested interest in promoting some ALTERNATIVE "belief"
system (rather than just intelligent, open-minded skepticism) which, by its
very nature, can prove MUCH MORE USEFUL to powers interested in deliberately
MISLEADING us. A case of the wolf berating a shepherd to the sheep ....
