I haven't read the article or post yet, so forgive me if I ask if it includes
those ominous premonitory dreams of Carl Gustav Jung's German patients,
experienced before the Reich erupted? I recall reading (I forget in which
volume of his works) that, sampling the patients' archetypal dreams, Jung
foresaw that Germany was headed for a collective "psychotic episode," the
whole nation "possessed" by a maniacal Wotan-like "god" ...
