9/9/99 was only one of many potential glitches, along with 1/1/00. Other
dates we've been testing are 2/29/00-3/1/00 (software that may have been
retrofitted for the yearend date turnover may fail to recognize 2/29/00,
and go from 2/28 to 3/1); and 10/10/00 (the first date in 2000 to require
a full 6-digit field)...
If any of these dates DO cause glitches, rest assured it will as
transparent to the public as any number of other computer glitches
businesses routinely experience...
