Sometime around noon, Buford was transported to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, where Pat Muhl was the nursing supervisor on duty. "The first person we received, LeBleu, was dead," said Muhl, a nurse for 26 years. "We were all sad, but we did not have time to be sad for long because others were coming in."
