I've seen similar www problems, and no-one would take
responsibility, or supply a solution. The only 'fix'
in that case was to supply the IP address yourself.
In place of 'lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com', substitute
the numerical IP address, which you can probably find in
an old message header. It will resemble the following:
209.185.241.177
(Substitute in the appropriate configuration file.)
