I take the side of peace. No one could believe what Yugoslavia did to
itself--all of course in the name of God (you apparently didn't notice that
the religions were different) and what happened during World War II. Tito
kept them all under control until he died, and like all powerful men could
not pick someone to take his place. It's a common failing among such people.
Yugoslavia was a country of enormous promise. It had everything, and it had
not been spoiled. Then along came another powerful man, and apparently he
said to himself, this should all be mine. We all know what happened next.
Power grabs are obviously something the world will always have to deal with.
It is not necessary to admire them.
