One of these laws from the Old Testament pertains to the penalty for false prophecy. Since Dr. North (and Don McAlvany and others) is demonstrably a false prophet with regard to Y2K, can any Biblical scholar tell us what the Old Testament penalty for false prophecy was? I believe I know what the penalty is, but I cannot at this time locate the chapter and verse, so I will await the literal citation. I am not advocating the application of this penalty to North (or anyone else). The appropriate penalty for him is to live with the wrecked lives his panic, and hysteria over nothing, have induced, and to make restitution and reparation. --Michael A.
