It would be nice, but generally consensus is 'messy' thing. The best books
that look in to the calculatable future-imho-are Generations and the Fourth
Turning. They give an understanding of our social history.

We are entering a period of flux where the people and our republic can
reassert itself. The stench of the corruption is beginning to be understood
by a large enough percentage of the population for change to occur. As the
shakedown of the unsettlement of people's pysche by their awareness of the
conspiracyfor there is a distinct effect that the awareness of the
conspiracy puts a person through. There is denial, there can be wholesale
acceptance or variant degress of understanding of our situation. For many a
conspiracy believer is some nut ranting about "precious bodily fluids," etc.
This image is not by chance. And who wants to be one of "those." But as I am
sure most of you folks know, that if a person truly takes just a little time
and looks into conspiracy literature that there is much more. I mean who can
ever forget when you as a layperson economist found out that the Fderal
Reserve wasn't part of the US Federal government? Did you believe it? Did you
understand what that meant? Just like you had to go through a learning
process, so will our republic. It we shall hope be long-lasting lesson. Be
prepared for a a crisis and resolution 2004-2008. Time is on our republic's
side.
