Ex-Clinton Fund-Raiser Wants to Warn New Yorkers About Hillary

California businessman Johnny Chung, the former Democratic Party
fund-raiser whom Hillary Clinton once greeted with the words
"Welcome to the White House my good friend," has offered to come
to New York to explain to voters how she traded White House
favors for illegal campaign contributions from Chinese sources
four years ago.

The latest polls show Mrs. Clinton gaining on her expected
opponent, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, in her bid to be New
York's next U.S. Senator.

But just days after she officially entered the race, evidence has
emerged suggesting that the first lady may be up to her old
fund-raising tricks again. Reportedly Hillary's campaign war
chest is now filled with contributions from some of the same
suspect donors who landed the White House in legal hot water
after the last election.

On Wednesday the New York Times revealed that Mrs. Clinton's
campaign has accepted contributions from 1996 fund-raising
scandal figure Bernard Schwartz, chief of Loral Corp. "Hillary
for Senate" took in $40,000 from the suspect CEO, despite the
fact that his company is still under investigation by the Justice
Department for giving the Chinese military U.S. missile secrets
in 1996.

Three months ago Chung himself was solicited by Mrs. Clinton's
campaign - a development that he described as bizarre and
insulting. "Been there, done that. No thanks," Chung told
NewsMax.com, after getting the Hillary fund-raising invite.

Chung has been spilling the beans on the Clintons' funny money
shenanigans to federal investigators since early 1998. His most
dramatic story involves a 1996 meeting with the chief of Chinese
military intelligence. "We like your president. We want to see
him re-elected," Chung says Gen. Ji Shengde told him - and then
offered $300,000 to help get the job done.

Between 1994 and 1996, Chung visited the Clinton White House 57
times. He says he contributed money in exchange for having his
"wish list" granted. Chung's list included tours of the White
House for his Chinese business contacts, pictures with the
Clintons and meetings with the president in the Oval Office.

In 1995, Chung personally handed Hillary Clinton's chief of staff
Maggie Williams a check for $50,000 inside the White House. He
was assured that Hillary was notified about his donation, which
at the time he did not realize was illegal.

Shortly after handing over the cash, he was granted a meeting
with the first lady inside the White House. It was then that she
warmly greeted him with the words, "Welcome to the White House,
my good friend."

"I can't wait to see the shocked look on Mrs. Clinton's face if I
show up in New York," Chung told NewsMax.com on Tuesday.

Chung offers several photos on his website, johnnychung.com, to
back up his story. One features a smiling Mrs. Clinton standing
next to the campaign finance scandal whistleblower as he points
into the camera.

But, said Chung on Wednesday, "I bet she won't be smiling if I
turn up in New York."
