Not all of us are convinced that he did lie under oath. One morning while
listening to C-SPAN I was given cause for second thoughts. A very old,
quavery voiced, country preacher called in, and made a comment that neither
Brian Lamb or his guest understood, but I did. I almost fell off the couch,
and my husband said the old man was right. I looked up sodomy in my Webster,
and lo and behold. He was. The old man said, "The bible is very specific in
(he named two books that I think were Genesis and Exodus but I could be
remembering wrongly) that there is a big difference between "sex" and
"sodomy." Well, according to Webster, there is. The old man didn't indicate
his side of the arena, but for or against Clinton, he sure got my attention
and raised my doubts. I really would need to see a transcript of the trial
and read the list of definitions that were decided upon. If Clinton believes
the same way as that old man, then he didn't lie under oath. Prudy
