Thanks for the posting Nicky.
I've read about the PGA before in Jeremy Lee's books. He saw them as
something sinister. I must admit that while I have grave reservations about
their scheme and certainly have a bone to pick with them for abusing the
trust of their constituents by embarking on this sort of altruistic
power-trip without making it an open part of their platform, I very much
doubt it will come to anything. In part it reflects their own naive idealism,
but also the reality that their power as politicians is becoming increasingly
circumscribed by global economic integration. It's attempt to claw something
back at a global level. I doubt it will succeed.
The "Resistance" you speak of sounds intriguing and I'd certainly appreciate
some more info.
