Foxter, the central law of Wicca--the so-called "Wiccan Rede"--is stated in
a number of ways: "An thou harm none, do what thou wilt shall be the whole of
the Law;" "As ye give, so shall ye get;" or (my favorite rendering) "What you
send, returns three times" (sometimes rendered as "The effect of a sending
returns multiplied to the sender"). There are a lot of "laws" of magic(k), most
of which boil down to "If it works, it's true." If you're really interested in
thoughtful neopaganism and Wicca, try these two sites: Http://www.neopagan.net/ (Home Page of Isaac
Bonewits, Archdruid Emeritus of Ar nDraocht Fein) and http://www.well.com/user/zthirdrd/WiccanMiscellany.html ("The
Wiccan and Faerie Grimoire of Francesca de Grandis"). I have found these two
sites to be the sanest neopagan sites on the Web, free of the usual New Age
pseudointellectual psychobabble.
