[2] Jordan claims that the PsyOp agents were passive interns who simply "observed CNN functions." According to Jordan it was a judgment error by CNN's human-resource department. Jordan is essentially asking us to believe that (a) the fact that the function of PsyOps is to disseminate U.S. military disinformation, (b) the fact that CNN uncritically disseminates U.S. military disinformation, and (c) the fact that PsyOp agents were found to be at CNN is all just a coincidence. The Pacifica anchor asked Jordan about the allegation that CNN attempted to lure Aleksandar Vucic, Serbian Minister of Information, to the Serbian TV station just before cruise missiles were timed to hit the station. [3] Jordan denied the allegation claiming that Minister Vucic cancelled his appointment 12 hours before the TV interview was to begin. So what? That would not mean they didn't try to get Vucic to be at the station at the same time missile would hit. However, my own inquiry suggests CNN may be innocent of that charge. An article at a Serbian website has a copy of the fax from CNN requesting that Minister Vucic come to the station for the interview. [4] On its face it surely looks like a conspicuous effort to "get him there." However, the problem with the allegation that this was CNN setting- up Minister Vucic to be killed is that the CNN fax says: "Minister Vucic should arrive at 2:30am." But the report in London's The Independent that initially made the allegation of a CNN set-up says: "NATO missiles slammed into the building at six minutes past two." [3] This indicates that CNN requested that Minister Vucic arrive AFTER the cruise missiles would strike, contradicting the claim that CNN tried to get Vucic there before the strike. The Independent appears to have their timing off by a half hour. They say the program was to begin at 2:30am and Vucic was to arrive a half hour earlier, at 2:00. However, what appears to be the actual CNN fax says the program was to begin at 3:00am and that Vucic was to arrive at 2:30am -- which was 24 minutes AFTER the missiles struck at 2:06am. Maybe CNN did try to set him up, but this evidence before does not support that allegation. I've not been able to find a source other than The Independent as to the time that the cruise missiles struck the Serbian TV station. A highlight of the Pacifica interview is when the anchor reads directly from official PsyOps literature, a hot quote is: "Capture their minds and their hearts and souls will follow." It's also important to consider that the PsyOps manual says: "PsyOps is ... a nonlethal weapons system."
