-Caveat Lector- -Cui Bono?- It is a very sad irony that Massachusetts is now the state with the most stringent gun laws. The people of Massachusetts have forgotten their heritage. It was 225 years ago this month, that a small group of Massachusetts militiamen refused to be disarmed by British soldiers. A column of British Redcoats between 650 to 900 strong was marching to Concord to seize "rebel arms". The "rebel militia" intercepted the British at the Concord North Bridge. It was there that the famous "shot heard round the world" was fired. The important meaning of that shot is no longer understood by many. Massachusetts is taking the lead in placing restrictions on the Second Amendment. They must have forgotten what a great price was paid to secure the Rights and freedoms we have had in America. If we surrender the Second Amendment, what's left of our Constitution will go very quickly.
