Well, I didn't see anyone sacrificing their lives this morning as the
INS finally rescued Elian, well about time they did so...

And now they're whining that U.S. agents indeed did so. Strange, those
trashy Miami Cubans draw a line in the sand, and then complain when their
bluff is called and the line was crossed...
On another matter, I notice the very early reports in the media regarding
the INS raid, mentioned how Elian was first brought to a hospital before
being put on the helicopter that brought him to Homestead AFB for the flight
to Andrews AFB...
In and of itself, perhaps nothing remarkable...perhaps it's a bit of insurance,
so that Elian's physical condition could be documented immediately, in case
the Miami faction later claim the kid was hurt in the raid....
But the early reports stated that a SURGEON went along on the flight from
Homestead to Andrews...later reports just stated a 'doctor'...
I wonder why a SURGEON, as opposed to, say, a pediatrician, went along...was
Elian subjected to some sort of surgical procedure at the hospital the INS
brought him to?
I wonder if perhaps some sort of tracking device might have been subdermally
implanted?
