Please take a moment of your time to review the first 28 pages of the
report, located at www.marynet.com/advisor . Some of the most essential
details of this report originate from Russian defectors, and appear to be
critical because they indicate, with unusual persuasiveness, that a
full-scale war with the communist-bloc may be imminent.
Perhaps you are already familiar with Anatoliy Golitsyn, a former KGB Major
who defected in 1961, and who attempted to warn the West of a secret
communist-bloc plan to defeat the West and establish a world-wide communist
federation. Despite the appearance of being seperated from his information
sources after 1961, he successfully predicted the "liberalization" policy
which we now call Perestroika, the approximate timing of it, the
"liberalization" in Eastern Europe, the opening of the Berlin Wall, and the
current russo-sino alliance, which appears to be more and more visible as
time goes on.

He claims that the policies of communist-bloc nations have been secretly
coordinated since 1961, in order to deceive the West into thinking that the
communist bloc was disunited, and consequently, less of a threat to the
West.

Especially gut-wrenching, in light of his history of being accurate, is his
claim that we are now in the third and final phase of the bloc's program,
and that this entails a "comprehensive assault" on the West. This "assault",
he says, is preceded by a "major shift in communist tactics".

According to one analyst, who published his analysis (Wedge: The Secret War
between the FBI and CIA, Alfred Knopf, New York, 1994) of Golitsyn's book
New Lies for Old, Golitsyn has an accuracy record of 94%.

As times goes on, his predictions ominously continue to come true. For
example, he claims that the reunification of Germany was part of a bloc plan
to solve the so-called "German problem", and that this solution would
involve the absorbtion of this reunited Germany into a left-leaning
european-wide government. With the introduction of the Euro currency, the
phasing out of the German Mark, and the implementation of EU governing and
juridical structures, this seems to be well underway.

It is a puzzle why Golitsyn's position does not appear to be affecting U.S.
defense policies. Initially, after his defection, he worked through private
and official channels, and met with some success in convincing the
counter-intelligence community, then under the leadership of James Angleton,
of the validity of his thesis. With the forced resignation of Angleton and
his Chief of Operations in the mid 70's, CIA counterintelligence, Golitsyn
says, "was all but destroyed". It appears that his analysis was thereafter
of less interest to the CIA, and so he wrote his book (reportedly in 1981),
which was published in 1984.
