The Starr Report Sanitized A Crucial Statement By Monica Lewinsky
Involving A "Foreign Embassy" Penetration Bill Told Her About!!
5/5/00 - When Ken Starr sent the House his now infamous, sex-talk
report about the Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton sex romps,
there was mention of a cover story between the two lovers should
their hot phone talks be overheard, as the president was
concerned.
What's interesting, while Starr spared no expense to reveal the
sticky details of much, if not most, of the Lewinsky-Clinton
"sexual relations" there was a gloss over on an interesting
exchange between the intern and the president.
Starr's report says that Lewinsky told his investigators that on
March 29, 1997, she and Clinton were huddled in the Oval Office
suite engaging in a sexual act. �He suspected that a foreign
embassy was tapping his telephones, and he proposed cover
stories,� the Starr report says. �If ever questioned, she should
say that the two of them were just friends. If anyone ever asked
about their phone sex, she should say that they knew their calls
were being monitored all along, and the phone sex was just a put
on.�
But read what Lewinsky actually told Starr's investigators --
this directly from her FBI 302 dated 7/30/98:
"The President said that he believed that an unnamed foreign
embassy was listening in on the President's official telephones
so they would have to be careful in their phone conversations.
The President came up with the ruse that if LEWINSKY was ever
questioned to just say that they were friends, and they were just
doing it to give people a run for their money."
Subtle changes for sure but the devil is in the details -- "the
President's official telephones."
No wonder the FBI has been so concerned about the suspected
espionage.
