Not the least of which is the fact that Eastern Equine Encephalitis
suddenly appeared in Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut, starting
about a decade ago.
I also have my suspicions regarding the sudden 'emergence' of the disease
named after Lyme, Connecticut...Lyme is also in eastern Connecticut, north
of Plum Island.

What isn't mentioned in this article is that all the lobsters in
Long Island Sound are dying, and the lobstermen are blaming this
spraying for the deaths, since they believe the insecticide has
polluted the Sound.
