People like John Stockwell CIA Agent, among Mr Stockwells accomplishments are a tour in Vietnam, director of the agencies Angola task force. DEA Agent Michael Levine, veteran DEA agent who worked deep cover in South America among his claims is that allowed Bolivian cocaine king pin Arce-Gomez escape prosecution in relation to one of the deep cover operations he headed The Larouche organization has its own ties to people involved in drug smuggling The 1978 Personal security advisor to Lyndon LaRouche Mitch WerBell was indicted on drug smuggling charges in 1976.(Iran Contra connection). Larouche also made attempts to established a relationship with General John Singlaub who has also been tied to alleged cocaine smuggling. A meeting set up by WerBell, didn't go well Singlaub dismissed these people as kooks in the worst order. A January 15 1985 issue of the Washington Post story Mr Norman Baily of the National Security Council describe the LaRouche Organization as "one of the best private intelligence services in the world." In fact according to Amnesty international has charged in quelling dissent Prime minister Mahathir Mohomad has banned "Schindlers list" as "Zionists" propaganda, and encouraged demonstrations that harassed the Israeli cricket team.(according to a report by Abudullah Marafet ) LaRouche's Pro China Stand, Is also an area of concern for supporters of human rights. In China's Henan province 36 year old Christian Zhang Xiuju was dragged from her home one night. Police returned her dead battered body, and claimed she jumped from the car. Catholic Bishop Su Zhimin 64 spent 15 years in prison for religious activities, he helped organized a pilgrimage to honor Virgin Mary he was arrested again to prevent this event from happen, He is now missing Human rights watch Asia documented 250 arrest or trail in 1993 for political arrest 80% of these happened in Tibet. Asia watch document 1,000 people who were detained by the Chinese government in China and Tibet for their peaceful expression of their political or religious beliefs Any threat Mr Soros or his open society institute could pose. pales in comparison to the threat of a man like LaRouche, who seems to hold the human rights of the world citizens in contempt. A Wacky LaRouche eye view of the environment LaRouche, claims that "Eco-fascist" are attempting to take over the world with a little help from their friends in the "New World Order". It is this opinion that is, in part, the reason LaRouche has a radical anti-environmental stand. LaRouche's group, The National Caucus of Labor Committees, harassed Anti Nuclear demonstrators in the 70's. Does LaRouches vision of world wide eco-fascist meet with reality? No. Reality points in a different direction. It is not the ecologically concerned (the eco-facists) who are attempting to destroy the economy or take over the world. Consider: In Jan 17 1996, The World Trade Organization (WTO) ruled that America must lower its standards for Gasoline production, to allow cheaper foreign gas to be sold in American markets. On June 19 1996, President Clinton agreed to honor this WTO ruling. And; the World Banks refusal to investigate the claims of Brazilian citizens over the banks breaking 12 of its environmental and social policies in its PLANAFLORO project. In the cold face of reality LaRouche, and the New World Order he so ardently opposes, seem to have the same agenda. Its a certainty that if both obtain their shared agenda the world and its citizens will not be the better for it. Education is key to making a better world. LaRouche the activist Lyndon LaRouche, Jr., seems to have founded his own political ideology. This Ideology has often been referred to as Bizarre, and some times cult like. An examination of the facts must make us wonder. Freedom of dissent is not something the followers of Lyndon LaRouche are known for. In January of 1974, LaRouche told his followers that one of them had been brain washed by Soviet secret Police, in part his is what he told his followers "Any of you who say this is a hoax, you're cruds!" LaRouche continued "You're subhuman! You're not serious. The human race is at stake."(1) LaRouche seems to have a great deal of control over his followers, a "drop out" of LaRouche's movement said "It's a seven-day-a-week, 24-hour-a-day total immersion," the "drop out" went on to say "It's a situation where people wouldn't have any private lives anymore . . . . Everyone's got to march to the same tune."(2) "There is some horrible psychological craziness in this group," said a former member.(3) When asked about past members charges that the LaRouche group is a cult, LaRouche aid Paul Goldstein gave answer that a cult would. He said the past members "have gotten burned out because of the pressure" of outsiders' attacks.(4) A 1973 LaRouche memo said "taking your bedrooms away from you until you make the step to being effective organizers . . . . Your pathetic impotence in your sexual life" Is political matter, the memo said, and went on "I will take away from you all hope that you can flee the terrors of politics to the safety of 'personal life.' " (5) Yet the bizarre cult like behavior isn't the only thing to question, Bizarre and cult like also applies to their logic too. A recent publication by the LaRouche group "THE COMING ICE AGE: Why Global Warming is a Scientific Fraud". A few nifty chapters are titled "Global Warming: Eco-fascists Target Clinton" "Eco-fascism: A Royal Virus". This seems to support the stand of big corporations, at least in part. Such pro big business campaigns are done by groups like, Global Climate Coalition (GCC) that's run by PR Firm Rudder Finn its mission statement says "the active involvement of U.S. business in the scientific and policy debates."(6) GCC had a grass roots strategy meeting at the Washington offices of American Automobile Manufacturers Association.(7) Well ok there fella you don't like them Eco-Fascist. The really odd part comes into play is when LaRouche who attacks the admitted foes of corporate America, Then attacks the allies of corporate America ie the IMF and World Bank. Third World countries "are under-polluted." That's what Lawrence Summers wrote in a 1991 internal memorandum when he was the chief economist of the World Bank.(8) Lawrence Summers, World Bank vice-president and chief economist, in the same memo defending the dumping of toxic waste in the third world because people in the third world die earlier, and they won't have time to develop prostate cancer.
