Does anyone remember hearing this radio program?
This was back in 1995, on the Art Bell "Coast to Coast"
radio show. Art interviewed a guest who had written a
book on the subject of money wasted by the government.
He talked about $1,000. toilet seats and $500. hammers,
the usual examples.
Art Bell asked the guest if he had found an instance where it
turned out not to be money wasted?
The man replied: "Yes. I learned that the U.S. Air Force
was equiping thirty 4 engined jet transports with agricultural type
spray equipment. I thought at first this must be another
boondoggle. So I asked the Air Force about it.
The Air Force replied that these 30 jets with sprayers to fly
a special mission. They were being prepared to spray chemicals
at high altitude to absorb the CFC gasses that are destroying
the ozone layer."
I called in to the Art Bell Show and got on the air with Art and
his guest. I told them the Air Force had given a false
"cover story". My comments were about as follows:
I am not giving you opinion but facts which you can check
for yourself. Get a can of Freon (CFC gas). Fill a balloon with
the gas and tie it off, like the helium-filled balloons we are familiar with.
Then....release the balloon.
It will immediately fall to the floor and stay there.
Freon is about five times heavier than air.
When released, it goes to the lowest level it can find.
There are no CFC gases at 40,000 feet in the atmosphere.
CFC gases are not high in the atmosphere destroying the ozone layer.
Many scientist know about this and are willing to come forward and
say so. The so-called news media will not give them any coverage.
So....the Air Force admitted the 30 jet spray planes.
The question is: What are those planes really spraying....and why?
