Reflections While Voting
I thought I'd share with you my
Story
of what happened during my confinement in the Voting Booth: Upon entering the Polling Place I
encountered
the usual white, overweight elders, who were quite patronizing; their efficiency notwithstanding. I dutifully carried my blank Ballot
into the Booth
and inserted it in the device that ensures the punches I made in the Master Ballot went through to my paper ballot properly. I turned to the first page of the
in-place Ballot Book which
listed all the names of candidates who qualified to be on the Ballot. I thought to myself, Lordy, Lordy
there sure are a
lot of people running for this high office of President of these united States. But something is wrong here because of all those listed there were only two names I instantly recognized. It didn't occur to me why
that was because I'm not too
literate of the voting process; spending most of my idle time watching sports and making sure my 'other
half'
keeps my TV tray furnished with plenty of
Budeweiser.
Close review of the names listed
revealed the usual
minions of the duopoly; the two who constantly bombarded my brain during the campaign with sound bytes. I stopped momentarily and thought,
Why did those two spend
all that campaign plunder trying to get elected?, while the other parties listed didn't have the plunder to spend nor the access to convey their message? Now, I'm a constitutional
conservative and have been all
my Life, and it didn't take much for me to realize things aren't what they are; I do have a degree of common sense. Since the major Party I use to vote
for believed in limited government
has now joined forces with the opposing Party who believes in big government, I couldn't in principle continue to vote as in the past. I stood there and reflected on the
current status of our Nation
and the path our Nation was taking Thanks to that young whipper-snapper in our White House who can't keep his pants zippered up. His major opponent didn't offer much either. He was the son of that Liar who proclaimed at his party's convention that he wouldn't raise taxes, and lo and behold the bastard raised them. Well, I just can't take another chance because I'm one of those critters who believe, 'like Father, like Son'. Having dismissed those two phony's, I
decided that for the first
time in my Life I would tell those bastards to go to hell, and commenced to look more closely at the other names. Ah, Now here's a name I
recognize!
This is the guy who early in the
campaign stated his Party
deserted him and he left it; now that takes real guts in my view. The more I thought of him he was the guy who took advantage of all that free exposure offered by the controlled media to get his message across and fought like hell, to no avail, to partake in the Presidential Debates, which by now everybody knows
is controlled
by the
duopoly as a means to control the political process.
And as I recall he was a former
staffer for tricky
Dick and the Great Communicator, Regean. Now Regean was quite a guy and my kind of man. His only mistake was he knuckled under to the demands of the One Worlders to appoint their minions to his staff; I was very disappointed in him for doing that. The rest of the List were just names
to me and I wouldn't dare
cast my sacred vote for an unknown person. My anxiety was relieved and punched
the hell out of that hole
opposite the name of my choice thinking the strength of his convictions would steer our Nation out of our morass and back on the right path regardless of the obstacles encountered by an adverse Congress. The rest of the Ballot Book consisted
of Lists of names completely
unknown to me, so I said to myself, Screw it, I'm finished! I felt good dropping my Ballot in the
Box;
I had had the opportunity to tell the crooks where they can go, while putting my Faith in a person I felt who could do the Job. The likelihood of his winning never entered my Mind, as I'm one of those critters who believe in voting my principles. I did
have a fleeting thought while walking to my SUV: that wouldn't
it be
great if all those who voted would vote with the courage of their
convictions,
i.e.
to be Free once and for all of big government.
If he doesn't make it, it won't be me
that contributed to him
loosing. Maybe we should stop and ask
ourselves, "have we become so blind?"
In case you don't remember, let me jog your memory. Tell me Mr. Clinton, did you feel the pain of the seventeen little children who cried out and perished in flame? How could they deserve to die? 'Seventeen Little Children'...... http://www.klang.com/17.html I say we hang 'em, hang 'em high 'til their toes are dangling. Yeow!! |
