challenge the Republicrat pols and fat cats, to air their views on issues such as
campaign finance reform, universal health care, the death penalty and the economic
disasters being forced on working people around the world by corporate
"globalization." As usual, the mainstream media will behave like the lap dogs they
have become, focusing on empty rhetoric, colored balloons, and the vapid beauty
contest that the allegedly two-party system engages in every four years.
But this year we have a little surprise for the networks -- Free Speech TV
& The Independent Media Centers will present 4 hours daily of live TELEVISION coverage
from the Republican and Democratic conventions on EchoStar's DISH TV Network (channel
9415)

to save it from the chainsaw, a non-stop tree occupation began. One
extraordinary woman named Julia "Butterfly" has remained in the tree for over a year.
