I don't know??? This is some seriously troubling stuff for
Gore...no matter how trivial it would be to any one else, it
ain't trivial to a pres candidate already behind in all poles.
And also, if you think about it, that kind of "pressure" is easy
to apply, and probably offers the fastest "go away" time.
What's more, such "pressure" from the issuer's perspective would
seem extremely effective, i.e., that it would DEFINITELY tend to
make the "problem go away" 999-out-of-1000 times, i.e., if it
was applied to a NORMAL human being (i.e., those that can
logically weigh priorities, have something to lose, etc.), and it
just might be that these "minions" had not realized the type of
"crazies" these tenants were.
Also, I would think Gore himself would not be made aware of such
an attempted "fix." Not only that, but it could be that Gore is
very well liked in that area, and that it was just some local
"Gore minions" attempting to help out their choice in candidates,
i.e., that no one in the Gore camp may had any complicity (this
is, imo, most probably what happened, IF ANYTHING REALLY DID).

P.S. Did you have a chance to try that Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat
Ale, yet? I'm sippin' one as I type. A thing to remember with
Samuel Adams beers is that they really do seem to be more
flavorable as they warm to a near room temp....like a good red
wine, i.e., it's better near room temp, and after it breathes. I
know that sounds funny, and prior to knowing the Samual Adams'
products, I had always thought warm beer (as in Germany) to be
sickening.
