Lawsuit: Alexander, et al. v. FBI, et al. (Filegate)
(Washington, D.C.) An evidentiary hearing on the White House's
failure to timely formulate a plan to produce missing e-mail in
the burgeoning e-mail scandal enters its third day on Monday
before the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth. Judicial Watch, on behalf
of its clients in the Filegate lawsuit, and the Clinton-Gore
White House will produce witnesses for examination and
cross-examination.
Opening testimony on Monday will come from the Clinton-Gore
administration's witness, Chief Warrant Officer Terrence Misich
(USA), who is overseeing the White House project to retrieve the
missing e-mail. On Friday, an expert from a leading computer data
retrieval firm, Ontrack Data International, said that despite its
proposal and ability to quickly restore the e-mail, the White
House chose a firm with far less experience to do so. In fact,
Ontrack would have nearly completed the job by now.
All members of the public and the media are invited to attend.
A press conference will follow the day's proceedings on the
courthouse steps after the hearing.
