Just my opinion, but ...
Based only on this snippet of information, it hardly makes the case to me that
Weisenthal was a "Nazi collaborator". It only suggests that it was working for
"U.S. intelligence", which was not surprisingly exploiting the "Nazis".
I belive that "Nazis" had a large and v-e-e-r-r-r-r-y interesting trove of
intelligence
information on governments and political leaders around the world. Everyone --
US intelligence, communists, Zionists, US and British politicians, etc -- were
v-e-e-r-r-r-y interested in finding out what the "Nazis" knew and making
sure that
that information was not used against their parochial interests.
