This was a really interesting item.
I remembered years ago in 50 period a friend talking about plastic which
was just beginning to go really bit time.
He was with US Steel, salesman, and they made really big money setting
this stuff - before advent too of Japanese getting into market - for
later you could buy steel in Japan, ship to USA, and still sell cheaper,
that if you bought over here....same for cars, for this guy used to buy
a Mercedes in France, have it shipped over and save big money too.....so
it takes big bucks, to save big bucks.
So this material he said was as strong as steel, etc., had one flaw - in
cold weather, it cracked.
But this paint, to think a shield protects from flamethrower, etc.
What if you painted house with this stuff, inside and out....would it
cook down your house in summer? But what about the cold, the reaction.
With something like that and invented so man years ago.
So what President was it, Coolidge that said "well might as well close
down the US Patentent Office, for there is nothing else left to
invent"......what vision, what imagination - face it, that guy was no da
Vinci and he certainly was no Franklin - but he was probably a little
more reserved and sane, in many ways.
That slogan Keep Cool with Coollidge must have been secret to his
success.
I would like to have some of that paint; when John Glenn came down his
spacecraft really heated up - heat shields.
Then, our scientists are usually one hundred years or so ahead of us -
and come to think of it, with Ezekial's Wheels and the Burning Bush,
maybe someone was two thousand years ahead of us?
For many secrets still not enciphered in the bible and lost knowledge
found on daily basis in any good library.
